How to Use the Discover Section
There are times when you are doing research that you need to do a quick check of top affinities among your audience or you need to see all demographic information in one table. The Discover Section feature combines ALL insights from the platform in one easy-to-navigate table. The Discover Section also allows you to exclude certain categories, for example, political sites and politicians, or combine multiple categories across the platform.
To access the Discover Section
- Build an audience and run your query in Discover.
- Click on the magnifying glass icon
on the left-side panel, or use the dropdown menu and select “Discover.” By default, all products and services, media, influencers, psychographics, and demographics from the platform will be shown and will be sorted by Affinity.
Searching for items in the Discover Section

- Once you type in your search, click enter on your keyboard to filter the table.
Filtering items by Category
- Click on the dropdown menu under “Filter by categories.” By default, all categories are selected.

- Select “Save” to apply your changes.
Filtering items by Insight Type

Note: You can only filter by one insight type at a time.
Insight types:
- Item: Filtering by item will only show individual brands, products and services, influencers, and media.
- Category: Filtering by category will show affinities at the category level such as media genres and sub-genres, types of products, and genres of influencers.
- Demographic: Filtering by demographic will only show demographic information such as age, gender, and country.
- Psychographic: Filtering by psychographic will limit your table to show lifestyles and personality types.
Re-sorting the Discover Section Table
- By default, the Discover Section table will be sorted based on the most relevant items.
- To sort the table by highest reach, click on “Reach” above the reach column in the table. Click on “Reach” again to see items sorted from lowest to highest.
- To sort the table by highest reach for your base population, click on “Base” above the reach column in the table. Click on “Base” again to see items sorted lowest to highest.
