Top bar and left bar
Top bar
The top bar is consistent throughout the app and has three sections.
Left section
Shows the different views for whichever module is actively being worked on.
Middle section
Always the same when working on a report, whichever module is active:
- Title of the report.
- Edit button: opens the Update Report modal to edit the Name and Description, and to change the storage location (destination Drive and folder).
- Survey information button: opens the Survey Information modal with description, total sample size, survey supplier contact information and other pertinent information. Not all surveys have this information.
- Copyright button: shows the survey's copyright information.
Right section
Tools available wherever a report is open:
Tool | What it does |
|---|---|
Undo | Undoes any action or calculation in the active screen, up to 10 steps back. |
Change Title | Changes the global title mode for all modules of a report. If a report has mixed title modes, "mixed" is shown; the option is grayed out until all items share the same title mode. |
Export | Exports the report. Options depend on the active module and chosen format. Formats include Excel, Google Sheets, CSV, PowerPoint, and plain-text ASCII (from the Reports module). P-Maps, Segmentation Apps and Geografix export as PPT, Google Slides, PDF, JPEG, PNG or SVG (see each module note). Charts export to PowerPoint and Google Slides (see Explore - Charting). Up to 10 tablebases can be chosen per export; some formats allow only one. For Excel and Google Sheets, users can enable stability flags : a dedicated "Flag" column is added alongside the data metrics, a warning flag is output for any cell below statistical sample thresholds, stable cells stay blank, and a flag definition key is included automatically. The thresholds are defined per survey, so the number varies. |
Snapshots | Create, apply or manage saved snapshots of the report. See Explore - Custom Audiences and Snapshots. |
Save As | Saves the report under a new name, or as a duplicate in a different location. Also saves the report as a quick report (see Explore - Quick Reports). |
Settings | Dropdown of report settings. See Explore - Report Settings. |
Stanley (Beta) | Launches the Stanley AI-powered analysis panel. Pick preconfigured prompts or use the Ask Stanley chat to synthesize key insights, statistical benchmarks and core crosstab findings. |
